Clinical Outreach Coordinator / Speech-Language Pathologist

Gwen Nolan is the Clinical Outreach Coordinator at Parkinson Voice Project.  She graduated from West Virginia University with a BA in Speech Communications and earned an MS in Communication Science and Disorders from California University of Pennsylvania.

Gwen joined Parkinson Voice Project in June of 2020 after practicing as a speech-language pathologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of adult neurogenic speech-language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in acute, rehabilitation, outpatient clinic, skilled nursing, long-term care, home health, and university clinical settings for more than 15 years.  Most recently, she was an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Missouri, where she trained graduate students to work with adults, developed specialized adult clinical programming, and successfully implemented SPEAK OUT!® and The LOUD Crowd®.   

In her free time, Gwen enjoys exploring Dallas with her husband and dog, spending time outside, and cooking.
