Parkinson Voice Advocates

Parkinson Voice Advocates is a volunteer group made up of people with Parkinson’s who have completed SPEAK OUT!® therapy.  They take a proactive approach to managing Parkinson's and are role models for the Parkinson's community.  Immediate family members are encouraged to participate in this volunteer program, as well.

Advocates meet twice a month via ZOOM and volunteer a minimum of four hours each month. They educate the community about the clinical services offered through Parkinson Voice Project.  They partner with the organization's board and staff to achieve the vision of making SPEAK OUT! & The LOUD Crowd accessible worldwide.

The Parkinson Voice Advocates also includes a "speaker's bureau."  These inspiring speakers educate community groups and share how they've learned to "live with intent," even with a diagnosis of Parkinson's.
